That’s fine in my book but I’m still surprised that in today’s climate the AEW brought him back. Good for them.

that's been their indie gimmick for a while... and here in AEW they may just be vested veterans to help bring up the next crop of talent

I think when AEW looked at the accusations... they noticed what else was going on with the #SpeakingOut... saw Sammy's actions were on the "meh... whatever" side of the scale when compared to all the other stuff that was coming out elsewhere in the wrestling community
decided to say we have to do something to show this is being taken seriously... but really these were just terrible words done by a kid and not terrible actions
