This reminds me of HDC.
Bugs in my zoot suit
Been scratchin' like a dog
I can't stand no water
And I stink like a hog
Give me a five dollar bill
And an overcoat too
Give me a five dollar bill
And an overcoat too
A five dollar bill and an overcoat too
A five dollar bill and a Florsheim shoe

I'll check them out when there
It's OK but not great. They've not raised prices since COVID like most others but it appears to me they're cutting some corners in the kitchen.

You can eat RB&R any day of the week
REASON for MONDAY TRADITION
=
back in the days (Great Depression, WWII etc) when every single ingredient or backend supply in your kitchen was USED to the FULLEST.
On Weekends, that’s when your family had their quality meals, old school sit-downs, that would usually include having a big ham, bacon grease from breakfast etc….
The bone & grease that came out of the weekend meals was saved and used every single Monday for Red Beans to always have the meat flavoring even if you could not afford meat for the meals during the week.
Growing up, I spent a ton of time with My Pawpaw in NOLA who grew up very poor, and my Mawmaw would make beans every Monday & he’d walk around all day randomly buttering a piece of bunny bread & sweeping/huge scoop it into the pot & my MawMaw swatting him out of the kitchen.
I Miss the days of simplicity and family traditions. Nothing like some bunny bread in some beans.
Red Beans Disclaimer:
1. Real beans to be soaked, no cans.
2. Bacon grease or ham bones
3. 100% need “pickled meat”
#3 is the game changer for me, without pickled meat, it doesn’t qualify for real beans in my opinion.
But to each his/her own.

24 / 7 / 365 is the correct answer
Lunch was fresh frozen ramen from Japan and some home made beef stock into a nice warm soup, followed by a nap covered in a hounds blanket (2 of whom snore pretty good).
Life is Good!
