What's ironic is that ya'll are the ones being dramatic about this.
When I say that the OP's fiancee is making him choose between her and his best man, I don't literally mean she is telling the OP "If you side with your friend, then we're done with."
I mean, if she is actually saying that, then yeah I agree with y'all. That's not healthy.
But the most likely explanation is that the fiancee is just playing games and testing boundaries. Have ya'll ever met a female before?!
The situation is not as serious as it seems on the surface. The OP just needs to draw the battle lines and send the message that his loyalty to his friend is important to him. If she goes apeshit over that, then yes, it will be time to step back and reconsider the relationship.
Yes, spouses push each other and test boundaries. That's how understanding develops and the relationship's long-term foundation gets built. Any relationship where that doesn't happen isn't a relationship at all. It's coexistence.
