I paid 300 for a Weber Silver about 15 years ago and replaced the guts last year and it's still going

This. I purchased the smallest Weber gas grill made about 6 years ago and am still on the original equipment. Can't believe how durable it has been and how it has no flame ups.
I laugh at the friends who get the cheap brands with all of the bells and whistles who think they have a good pit, but the damn thing is rotting within 4 years.

assuming you are a real man...and are talking about a charcoal grill....Ask yourself how many of those cheap grills do you see in the ditch on garbage day? Tons of them...how many Weber Kettles? Zero...because 1) most do not throw them out, 2) If someone can't replace the cleaning blades...and toss the kettle someone has already picked it up...

I was looking at the Spirit E310

I've had one of those 3-burner Spirits for about 10 years. It sits under the eave, so it gets hit with a fair amount of water. The shroud started to develop rust holes last year. Nothing major, but I called Weber, and they immediately sent me a brand new one under the 25 year warranty on that part. I also had to replace the grease catcher piece once, but that's it.

You asked about natural gas. Mine is; I have a hookup that is convenient. The long hose lets me move it around if needed. The only time I do is if I want to get under the patio to escape rain. I like not having to worry if the LP bottle is low.

Side burner: I did not want to pay for one, but that is all they had when I shopped. I seldom use it, but I'm glad it is there. Used it a lot when kitchen was remodeled. I also use it to boil shrimp, blacken food in a cast iron skillet, or other smoky/smelly projects that I don't want in the kitchen.
