That Jefferson cell is showing some very high winds. Don't take it lightly if you're in the path.

As with everything tonight, short duration intense cells. Looks like it faded.

Now New Orleans should watch for a similar fast spin up of a severe storm.

A bit ago I saw some pretty intense winds in Metry but its died down as the line is closer.

It brought down a smaller pine branch in the front yard.

Guessing the main weather is gone now that the tv channels have gone back to commercials and their regular programming.

Yeah, it faded pretty quick thankfully.

Whole thing is losing steam now that it's dark. Keeping an eye out for I12 currently but glad to see the warning box fading.

Power pole damage at Hickory and Dock in Harahan.



Also Entergy is showing an outage along Jefferson highway from the S curve in Harahan into Jefferson. And a decent sized swath without power across the river.
