It is not. It’s a bunch of malarkey.
I assure you it is. Every single time a tornado hits anything the "It hit without warning!" line gets used. Any time a tornado does actually hit without warning (despite the fact that even if a particular storm was warned or not doesn't equate to "without warning") people bash meteorologists. You can just keep denying that isn't the reality, but you will remain wrong. People want to bash the forecast/process whilst at the same time taking zero personal responsibility.
Case in point: the OP who can't seem to figure out why the forecast says "winds up to 60mph" when severe storms are in the forecast. It ain't difficult to figure out.
