My SIL moved/lives in Maryville Tenn. And we talk about the weather. What gets me is the huge difference between the highs and lows. In New Orleans we are lucky if it is a 10 degree difference... In Tennessee it is a 20+ degree difference.. She loves it up there and will never move back to this area... for many reasons..

Same here. Maritime climate, the highs and lows might be 1-2 degrees apart.
No major swings, just weeks of the same.

Still a lot of fat people in East Tennessee.

This is mildest spring south Louisiana has had in years. That being said I’ll take swimming pool/boating weather over anything cold (even though I do like cool, crisp sunny weather a lot as well).

Living in the blue ridge mountains and we may only get true summer once we hit the middle of June through august.
Sounds like a living hell.
I loved visiting my grandparents in the Shenandoah Valley when I was a kid. Don't have any family left there but I have thought of moving there. Tired of the Houston summers.
