I've literally never made it to my destination using waze. One time, it brought me to the back of the perimeter of the airport I was trying to get to, like literally to the fence that separated the airport from the neighborhood it bordered.

This would seem like a must-have app for those who live in and travel through Baton Rouge.

Very handy especially if you're the navigator.

You can squeeze the screen in to look ahead on your route for cops or traffic, way before the alert.

Google maps does this and also reports traffic incidents reported on waze. Is thee something special waze does that I don't already have?
yep.

Google maps is way slow to update from waze data. I run both sometimes and waze bails my arse out in time but Google doesn't.

Google gets about 1 in 10 waze reports. Never catches the debris on the road or stopped cars.

Also Google doesn't report cops.

You will hear it chirp when it makes a change.

I like Waze but sometimes the chirp is a little much. Love the reroute but last time it switched the route 5 times in maybe 5 minutes. Of course either route would have done fine to get around the I-10 cluster, so I just picked the one I was familiar with, but that would have been bad news for someone not from the area.

Also, car on side of road alerts get a little annoying between LA and Mississippi, but that isn't Waze's fault

Yes it is. frick Waze for that. I don't need to know if there's a fricking car on the side of the road.

Cops. Debris IN THE ROAD, reroutings. That's all I need Waze to bother me with.

They need to allow the user to set which types of alerts they want to hear.
