just a note... right after lunch we will quickly let a Brooks' defense witness take the stand... and Brooks will question 1st since it is a defense witness... due to the need for an interpreter and this was the only time the interpreter was available

Why is Brooks so focused on whether these people heard a horn? Has he indicated that maybe the driver of the SUV was honking a horn to get folks out of his way? I don't see that makes a difference here. He drove through a damn parade of people.

So his defense seems to be in 3 parts
A) a lot more people could've been hurt that weren't
B) none of the actually injured victims can identify him as the driver (even though there's a fairly clear stillshot of him in the driver's seat in evidence & others have identified him as the driver... including the father of an injured 3 yr old just this morning)
C) none of the witnesses can definitively say there was no one else in the vehicle... seemingly implying he was being forced to drive through the parade

Also that he’s being denied his 6th Amendment rights because the entire State of Wisconsin is not in the court room.
