The prosecution is just allowing him to keep digging the hole. He is asking questions like this is a civil suit.
Somewhere along the way, I think he believes he is doing a good job of representing himself and his confidence is only hurting rather than helping.
The jury is going to dislike him even more with all his "grounds".
The plaintiff is nowhere to be found.

She also reminded him that he chose to waive his rights to an attorney, so his ignorance wasn't going to help him.
This last witness was painful to watch. He really should leave her alone, but he's going to ask all the same questions on whether she saw the driver etc...

She's tried... she's threatened over and over to shut him down and he does move on to "legit" questions

Jeeze! Asking her about the injuries to others is ridiculous. Her comments about the spinal fluid coming out of the girl's nose made me cringe.
