Watched a guy being told by motor vehicle commission he couldn’t display trolling motors at the sportsman show because the specific models weren’t listed on his dealer license. And not only does a dealer have to be licensed to sell each model of boat/motor/troll motor etc but the salesmen have to be licensed. Easier just to open up shop just across the border and sell to LA customers all day while laughing at the idiots running LA state govt.
I also heard they had some new rule about outboard motors being shipped separately from boat hulls too, forget specifics but I’m sure it was one of the shite bags on the board trying to screw his rival dealer who figured out a way to undercut his prices.
Most politics that directly impact our lives are state and local and the amount of corruption at those levels is mind boggling.

I always laugh when I sit down for a haircut and see the person’s state beautician license. Thank God the State is protecting me from these unlicensed barbers.

Louisiana is literally the best place in the world for civil attorneys to make bank... And one of the worst places for businesses to incorporate because of civil tort threats.
See the gas can debacle.

Sounds interesting. How do I watch? Netflix? Hulu? Peacock? YouTube?
