Washer Repair Help

GE Profile Washer model #WPRE6150K2WT about 8 years old.
A couple of weeks ago I was getting a 4 flash error code. I ordered a new mode shifter assembly, and installed it last Tuesday night. We ran 4 loads Wednesday, and everything worked fine.
Over the weekend we ran another load, and the the spin cycle did not run properly. The LED on the motor is blinking on and off in 1 second intervals. I tested the resistance on the mode shifter plug, and get about 70 Ohms. I tried the lid open and close reset method, and nothing changes. Any other tips to try to troubleshoot the problem? It's as if the motor isn't getting a signal to spin the basket.

My God. Isn't everything getting out of control with technology? Even the most basic things have become overly complicated.
You can buy a fridge now with a computer grocery list in the door.
Why would someone want a fridge with a computer in the door where you can write down a grocery list? Idk, I just use a magnet with a notepad on it.

Buy one of these and ditch the calculator quality chip boards in an appliance that has no need for electronics

I bet there are washing machines built in the 70s still ticking along with a motor and a belt.
My college roommate found an old washer somewhere random for free about 8 years ago that we used in our apartment. This machine must've been from the 90s or earlier. Anyways, he didn't want it after we all graduated, so I took it. It is still working today, probably 20+ years after it was manufactured and does about 1 load a day.
OP, sorry to hijack your thread.
