The fact that there is more "outrage" over this FB post than there is when everything in the FB occurs, speaks volumes about the culture he is referring to.

+1

Facebook has destroyed us. Instagram has made teenagers depressed. Twitter causes more ADHD.

Goodness. There’s even a video somewhere in this thread of white teenagers, yes teenagers, taking handfuls of candy. Kids of all ages and races have been taking more candy when it’s left out since the beginning of Halloween. The fact that some people are defending this guy speaks volumes.

Is a prank that is common with what the cool kids did in high school with permission of the local police department and homeowners during homecoming. Sorry you weren’t included

taking too much candy from a bowl of candy left out for taking

Stealing a bowl of candy when there’s a sign that clearly states “please only take a few pieces and leave enough for others” should be a crime, but it should also be taught.

quote:

throwing shite at moving cars is totally co as well because you are white and live uptown

It was water balloons during homecoming in a private subdivision that I lived in and we knew the driver. There was nothing criminal or mischievous about it. Again a harmless prank. An old lady with a stick in her arse called the cops. Sounds like something you would have done.

You were just a growing boy, not a disrespectful thug amiright?

Correct.

I don’t think people are really siding with the kids. Most just don’t think it’s a big deal. It’s possible to Not side with the kids and call out the guy for his blatant racism at the same time

Not taking sides in y'all's spat but I've rolled a few houses and we definitely never asked for permission

Any business owner...or hell, any person period, who would do something so stupid and unreasonable as this guy won't get any defense from me. He's a damn fool, and I'm certain his ignorant actions would mean he and I do not agree on much in our perception of the world.
quote:

There is that pesky racism again.

I don't think you understand the definition of racism- which is not surprising. Racism is underlined by this singular notion: one's belief that their race is superior.

What you're thinking of is prejudice, at best. What it really is, is an opinion- a worldview. Right or wrong, it's an opinion based off of a worldview.
quote:

Wanna bet that some people viewed your crazy stuff as rude and disgusting. And that their normal kid wouldn’t

So who's right and who's wrong? What's normal? The kids who took the candy, or the kids who rolled a yard? The kids who knowingly (hence why they were looking around) stole from others who would come behind them wanting candy, or the kids who rolled a yard that bordered on vandalism?

As another poster said, there are cogs that illuminate a much bigger set of circumstances: We all know right from wrong and where the line is, and so do you, but your intolerance will never allow you to not ignore it.

Stop with your hate and intolerance and burying your head in the sand; it's not productive for blacks, whites, nor for yourself: because your hate and prejudice and intolerance will eat you alive bro.

You don't want to die and your legacy be that of a "bigot."

Stop the hate.

Back when you and I grew up we didn’t have to.

But now that pussies like pride87 and Bob are growing up they compare it to stealing a bowl of candy off someone’s porch.

Sorry I didn't read the entire thread looking for the 1 piece of anecdotal evidence of white teenagers to justify 5 and 7 year olds acting like hoodlums.

Where were the parents?

That’s not what you said on multiple post. Are you having a stroke?

quote:

Rolling someone’s house is far more a dick move than taking too much candy from a bowl of candy

I would 1000000000% rather someone take my Halloween candy than throw toilet paper in my trees Not even comparable actually

I would absolutely rather someone take my Halloween candy. Not sure what point that proves? Cleaning up the toilet paper is a pain in the arse....If you couldn’t follow my post may god have mercy on you slow little soul

My entire point is how you are ok with kids breaking certain laws and doing things they know is wrong on some occasions, and not on others?

I honestly don’t know how you draw your line at taking too much Halloween candy

I honestly don’t know how throwing shite at people in their car is harmless, but taking candy from a bowl of candy you left out for taking isn’t harmless
