I think I'm a bit older than you and I was pretty young when we used to go Gibson's so it may have closed not long after.
Winbourne wasn't great in the mid 80s. It's a hell hole now. It's sad because you can tell that was just a working class area 40 years ago.
I think that was Blue Ribbon. I remember that store.

My wife asked me if I saw this and I said yeah, it was when keeping it real goes wrong and she said he said the N word? I read the article earlier and didn't even know the bleeped out word was the n word. I figured it was "shits".
Is it true he said the n-word?
edit: It wasn't bleeped out. He literally typed five asterisks which obviously means "shits" in that context..
