I wonder what Wal-Mart would be like if they actually had good service and cared about thier customers. Basically if you were to apply the Chick fil a business model to Wal-Mart.

Good. Hopefully that can help inject some responsibility and long term planning ability into the average walmart employee.

What do they want? Walmart to open trade schools and colleges inside its stores?

Then they would be Target.

Seriously, the issue with walmart is not the service, its the product line. They sell cheap shite for the most part which is why they draw the customer base they do. Has nothing to do with service.

As long as they have the cheapest stuff, they will have the same customer base

I once needed a price-check on a soundbar because there was no price tag. I took the sound bar up to the lady at the register and asked for her to price-check it.

I told her there wasn't a price tag and she said "well, I doubt that", then proceeded to huff and puff about having to scan the item to tell me the price. I know that is a minor example, but I did everything I could to make it easy on the employee to satisfy my request and she still acted like it was a pain in the arse and essentially called me a liar.

I hate Wal Mart.

Hell yeah! You’ll be right on the spot for their next blue light special.

That's Kmart, dumbass...I'm ashamed that I know this. I'm fairly young though...it wasn't that long ago that I was a poor too.

Target Corp., for example, has a minimum hourly wage of $11 and plans to grow it to $15 by the end of 2020.

Maybe thats why Target is going bankrupt and Wal-Mart is expanding and thriving.

People that make plenty of money act the same way. Its not about the money or class of person for things like that. All in all, people today suck and JDGAF

If you dont believe me, go to the Atlanta Airport and try to get some help. Most of the employees there make double what Walmart Employees do and are worse.

People are going to suck. There is no amount of money or great working conditions that will fix it

That's the trade off. Walmart employees only have so much room to bitch because most of them give horrible service. Walmart customers only have so much room to bitch because you get what you pay for.

It’s too bad there’s a law that says Walmart employees can’t go apply at Target

So true. I am sure they are worth $11-15 an hour but Target just doesn't call them. Maybe there should be a #boycotttarget movement for not hiring away all of Walmarts employees to solve their wage issue for them.

Of course, most people living paycheck to paycheck could be making $100K a year and still would wonder why they live paycheck to paycheck...
