Why stop at $25, go for $30 or more? One day even the stupid people will realize that prices go up to cover that increase. So they pay more all over town and the dog continues to chase the tail. They are trying to make it a living wage when it was meant to only be an entry level work type job and you move on to better pay when someone comes in to steal you. I have businesses where people don't come in to steal them bc they suck at their job and there are few out there to replace them. They are worth $3/hour but we are forced to pay much higher and can't demand they are good workers and treat any customer great. The culture only exist at a couple places and it's hard to replicate.

If any restaurant workers deserve it, it’s them.

Oh no, I think I'm gonna cry. This is horrible. I've always valued the opinions of people who yell "ECON 101!" at anyone who disagrees with them. I think this may be the end, no way I can see picking up and moving on after this tragedy.

You can’t even begin to understand what those people are referencing. How could you possibly value their opinions?

It's a petition in three stores, so it's basically a clickbait headline and Waffle House is still America's Place to Eat, and America's Place to Work.

I don't know... it seems that fast food places are still going up everywhere, and they stay packed with cars because nobody cooks at home anymore.

There's a reason kitchens in even nice home are as small as closets. People don't cook anymore and rely on food chains and doordash.

Thera going to be SO much cheap labor available very soon. The government is well aware of these pay issues thus the open border. The question is, what’s going to happen to these Americans once they are squeezed out ?
