What in the world. Surely his dad had to have known he was mental. We seriously have to be weary of who we are putting guns in the hands of. Everyday law abiding citizens do have the right and deserve to carry a firearm. I stand by that.
But if you have even the SLIGHTEST feeling that someone either has anger-management issues, or something else going on that he may harm himself or others. Then that person should not possess a gun. Period.
