WAFB posting stories about out of state shootings?

This has become common practice for them. We have plenty of our own Louisiana shootings and murders. Why find a story about a shooting in Indianapolis? How bout report on something positive in Baton Rouge or the two nearby cities? Might be harder to find, but that’s the job right?

I got a notification earlier about some hunters from Zachary being searched for in Mississippi due to a collapsed duck blind, but WAFB's website usually has national news on it as well.. And I would guess if they are showing it when they are on air, it's just a slow news day.

It’s because anything that causes a click to happen, they get ratings.
So any story that is awful sounding, they will either post it or manipulate the title to get people to look at it
