This assumes you're talking about basic branch and not branch of service (Army, Navy, AF, Marines)
McArthur award? You mean Marshall award?
If you are the top ROTC cadet in your program it's pretty rare you don't get your first branch choice.

Graduating from any of those turns you into a socially inept goober who wil have a lot of trouble getting women so it really doesn't matter

west point is basically texas a&m north. vast majority of cadets are from texas. the rest are from the south or mountain states (co, wy, ut, mt).
