Depending on who it was they’d either whip his arse at best. Or if he’s unlucky they’ll leave small chunks of him spread out across the back roads and ponds of 4 or 5 counties.

If he just would have leveled with the cops when they found him and said "Hey, I hate my life, I'm trying to start a new one with this hot piece of trim" the cops probably would have been like "Man, I've wanted to do that for 10 years now. Good luck"
