Wish they still made real cars like that instead of today's plastic crap

Had a 1969 Cadillac, got about 8 miles per gallon out on the highway.
You could raise the hood without releasing the latch from inside the car, which led to a lot of stolen batteries and parts, and the introduction of the abovementioned latches.
I think 1969 was also the first year that the ignition switch (where the key goes in) was mounted on the column (as opposed to somewhere on the dash).

Great video! I love big V8 American cars.
My garage will have a 1968 Eldorado:
And a 1972 Continental:

Check out Matt Farah's channel Smoking Tire. He does a segment called One Take where he drives other people's cars, but he typically only drives really unique things...like an LS swapped Jaguar XJ with a gated manual shifter. He's about to start doing One Wake where he does the same thing with boats.
Also, Doug Demuro has some good YouTube content.
Regular Car Reviews is meh to me. I could never get into it, just not my style of comedy I guess.

I get the sentiment. I just wished they use the same gauge sheet metal from the '70s.
