That was a morning that I will never forget. I always saw weather like that on tv from Dallas but not here.

I don't know what that was but it lasted a whole lot longer than any tornado I've seen.

I was downtown and have never before nor since seen it that dark at ~9:30 am. It looked like midnight outside for about 15 minutes

I was in a tiny hallway with 200 terrified 10 year olds watching trees bend as the door kept slamming open and shut. Good times.

I've been through hurricanes. They weren't as scary as this storm. Only time I've ever texted my wife as a potential "final goodbye" and cowered in a shower stall. I seriously thought I was going to die for a couple of minutes there.

I watched it come in from the west from 11 stories up. I'll never forget the green skies. It looked like the scene in Independence Day when the alien saucers fly in over the cities.
