in original link, he stated nothing about carb, just blue painted chinese knockoff. funny he thinks he gets the non-chinese carb variety.

i can see how i would have scarred you in that thread. I basically poo pooed all over you poor chinese blue motor generator.

The ability to run propane is the difference tho. Never have carb issues ever.

you still can and i would suggest it. Only $160 too! LINK

That's what i'm trying to tell y'all. I know you can add it to an existing generator but at that price and to already have it built in with electric start is a killer deal.

and it runs on propane numb nutts. Try that with Chads and see what happens.
i can install a kit and try it on chads and it would work fine. you are talking like this generator is special it can run on propane.

Propane, gas, diesel, who gives a shite. If the carb fouls I take that fricker apart, clean it, stick it back on and go back to running it for another 4 years. I don't understand the big deal here. The carb isn't falling off and screaming in agony because gas got in there.

I'd rather spend 60 bucks at stens and order an aftermarket honda carb and just bolt a new one on.

I took apart one of these Chinese carbs 2 days ago. They are actually made well. Other than one random bolt in the bowl that I didn't quite understand and it's exactly like any normal carb.

Circles are now squares and squares are now circles and you all are bitching about a Chinese generator? This is why America will fail...

you know there are tri fuel (propane, natural gas, gasoline) conversions you can add to any motor now right?

For reals? I'm looking at the Tri's specifically for Nat Gas, but you're saying that's not needed? More info?

It looks like the price difference is negligible between a tri-fuel generator and a gas generator plus conversion kit. Add to that the inherent advantage of a native/original part/setup vs an aftermarket alteration, generally.

Am I missing something?
