What really intrigues me is the information one Pope passes down to the next Pope.
We already know what the old Pope tells the new Pope.

no, the synoptic gospels say the last supper was at Passover
Mosdefly do...
And you'd think a couple of good Jewish boys would have known better. But there you go... proof positive that these writers weren't near knowledgeable enough about Judaism to be one of the twelve. Because it doesn't take transcribing Hebrew to know the Sanhedrin would never have violated Pesach/Passover by assembling a court, nor took part in any crucifixion on a sabbath day, Much less on one of the seven most high-holy-days of the year. It's something so basic even a goy, gentile, non Jewish, believer like me or you should know better. So easy even a Hebraic caveman . . .
This would have been everyday vacation bible school level knowledge for even the most casual of Jew.
BTW: We are not referencing your average preparation day which happens once a week. Where on every 6th day they'll clean the house and make meals in advance, so as to not violate the 7th day. This was the special preparation day for Passover. Which requires a much more rigorous cleaning.... to be point that all risen bread is removed fro the house. All yeast must go. It's so complete that yeast-starter-sourdough is often given away or sold with the understanding it'll be sold back after the holidays. And of course the meal planning would be holiday in scope. Much like what we do with Christmas, it's special, well understood, and considerable time was spent getting ready. . . .IE: this was thee day the risen bread (the king) left the building and every Jew was still preparing (getting ready) for the big day.
Yep, it's unfortunate but like you said some of the Synoptic's got it wrong. It's kind of like the exodus across the Red Sea, where it turns out Egypt owned that other side as well, and so maybe what's written might not be exactly perfectly described. Or consider it like the very 1st page of the NT where 13 generations are counted, written, and published as 14.

What is buried on Oak Island?

I'm not the one who can't grasp the difference between simple instructions and supernaturally revealed secrets that are for the Pope's knowledge alone.

It all appeared and made sense to Rogan on a DMT trip. Rogan fanboys are cringe.

The Israelites were never in Egypt as an enslaved people. That’s all made up. There was no great escape from there.

IF the ark survived to the times of the Roman conquest, it got melted down. But it was probably melted down long before.

quote:we have no way of knowing if they were ‘good’ Jewish boys or not - plenty of Jews did not follow the law, I think Jesus mentions that several times
And you'd think a couple of good Jewish boys would have known better.

Sanhedrin would never have violated Pesach/Passover by assembling a court, nor took part in any crucifixion on a sabbath day

it's unfortunate but like you said some of the Synoptic's got it wrong
Humans get things wrong, God does not. And if people are nitpicking as to when the last supper took place, or when Jesus was actually born - then they’re missing the whole point

“Heavily guarded? How many guards, really? I saw one video from several years back, looked like two emaciated Ethiopian dudes standing around.
If it was really there the CIA would airdrop a few bags of cheeseburgers just out of reach, they’d steal it while the guards were chowing down.

How would he manage to accomplish this seeing as how the old pope is almost always dead before a new one is chosen?
Maybe the new pope looks in that chronovisor thing and gets the message from the past.

Scholars have access to the archives. None of the sensationalistic stuff is in there, but there are a bunch of really old documents.
IIRC, that’s partially true. Scholars DO have access, but they don’t get to wander around looking as if they’re in the local library. They have to know exactly what they’re looking for, request that specifically, and aren’t allowed access to items not requested.
And it’s not just one giant room with the Ark or the Grail stuck in the corner next to a Coke machine. It’s sectioned off.

What I don’t understand is if they have all these amazing things why not put them on display?
Why can’t regular people see them? Especially if it’s just artifacts and writings
Now if something like the chronovisor or ark of the covenant or holy grail actually exists and they have it then I understand keeping it under lock. But most other things would be exciting and intriguing for regular people to view

quote:correct the normal weekly one was at dark Friday. And the extra passover-sabbath on the day before.
sabbath wasn’t until sundown on Friday
quote:Like Passover being on a Friday which makes crucifixion on Thursday and so we easily get three days in the ground without any juggling of wee-bits.
then they’re missing the whole point
hint: The Passover is a Sabbath that occurs on one particular date. Like Christmas is always Dec 25 and so the day of the week is fluid. It just happened that both sabbaths (observed holy days) were back to back.
Yes, minor to some. But worth checking out for others.
