Help!! Got a new girl and really want to impress her. What kind of flowers should I send to her at work? Or do I surprise her and hand deliver?

If you're going to see her, go get her flowers at Costco or a grocery store. Get roses, but not red. Red is terrible. Get white...or those cool ones that are kinda white but have pink tips. Those are legit.

Costco roses are 24 for $17. Rouse's has them a dozen for $10, but they may be marked up right now. It's still better paying $15 for a dozen than it is having to pay $80 to have some dipshit florist do it for you.

If you won't see her and you guys have been sort of seeing each other for a bit, go get the flowers and leave them on her windshield with a little note so she sees them when she gets off work.

If she doesn't have a job, you should have swiped left.

Dont waste your money sending her some at work. Go to a store like Whole Foods of Fresh market where they are cheap and just as good in quality and bring some to her. I like to give orchids or some sort of assortment.

Sweet jesus. Do not do any of this. Have you ever heard of coming on too strong?

He's got a "new girl" and he wants to have flowers delivered immediately.

A but overboard imo. But then again, I think VDay is a huge joke to begin with.

Exactly. Dude just met the girl and dumbshits here are telling him to walk into the office holding flowers like an awkward stalker. Take flowers to her apartment and make her dinner. Damn guys, come on.

I mean, I suggested him slyly putting them on her windshield for her, but only if they've been dating for a few weeks/month or longer. Not like just met or anything. Cripes, everyone's a damn know it all.

Keep it simple. Buy a good bottle of wine or champagne. Find out what her favorite type of flowers are and get them.

in the long run, this is x10 better than having some big box flower company deliver flowers to her work.

If she's long term gf material keep expectations low. You're going to have to match or exceed your first Valentine's Day every year.

More like so many dudes in this thread with go overboard for a rubbish day to show how much like like someone.

Nobody said they were above doing something nice for a female. But the OP seems a bit over the top about having stuff delivered to her work. Especially since this is a "new girl"

On the same note, if she's long term girlfriend material you should treat her nice everyday. That way VDay isn't this massive operation.

I always chuckle at the dudes who go way over top with Valentine Days plan. It's a huge "Hey I need to make up for being a shitty BF" move imo

This guy gets it. Make it special but not over the top. Nice dinner, card with a hand written note (chicks dig that shite) and a single rose.

Stargazer Lilies. Roses are boring, everyone does roses.

Depends, again, on how new of a girl. Too new and hand delivery could be creepy. Like two months new, probably ok.
