The Panzerkampfwagen IV (Pz.Kpfw. IV), commonly known as the Panzer IV, was a German medium tank developed in the late 1930s and used extensively during the Second World War. Its ordnance inventory designation was Sd.Kfz. 161.

You should start on a big diorama of destroyed Russian armor and vehicles and two Ukrainian infantrymen with a shoulder-fired AT weapon. Have they started bringing T-34s out of mothballs?

Great work as always.

I’ve considered getting into diorama building. But they take up too much room.

I'm sure you've been asked this a million times, but who is your supplier for kits and paint?

Great work as usual.

What steps do you use to assemble and paint?

Fpr example...paint all parts first, assemble, touch-up, then weather?

Most of my kits come from a hobby shop in Hoover, AL called The Model Box. I also order some off Amazon and EBay. Once a year we take a Saturday and drive up to Memphis to go to a place called Midsouth Hobby. Also, whenever I travel I check to see if they have a hobby shop.

As for supplies, most come from either the Model Box or Amazon.

I usually assemble and paint as I go. For example I’ll build the entire hull then paint and weather it. Then I’ll do the same for the turret. On some of the tiny pieces, I’ll paint before assembly.

Some of those builders can pack a whole bunch of detail into a small footprint. War dioramas are always my favorite to look at at shows.

I may eventually do one. If I do it will most likely be 1/72 scale to not take up a lot of room.

Indeed it is. I still like shooting and hunting though. But this is my main hobby.

These threads are my guilty pleasure. Your weathering skill takes the model to another level. Well done, sir.
