How do you paint the canopy frames? I struggle with those.

I use a very fine brush and a very steady hand. The key is to paint each line in one steady stroke.

I’ve also done Swedish, Romanian, and Polish models. But I do more German vehicles than anything. It’s not out of anything resembling fondness for Nazism. It’s more that their vehicles look cooler and they tended to use far more interesting and widely varied camouflage patterns.
I enjoy seeing the ones from the smaller countries you mention. You don't see those as much anywhere. And I agree that the German vehicles do have a cool look to them.

Well, I have an update on that. I received a $287 check Thursday from the company that has the cleaning contract for my office. Just over an hour ago I placed and order on Amazon for the following:
Tamiya 1/35 Panzer 38(T)
Tamiya 1/35 M26 Pershing Tank
Hasegawa 1/48 B5N Torpedo Bomber
Hasegawa 1/48 B6N Torpedo Bomber
Hasegawa 1/48 P-38 Lightning
Tamiya 1/48 F4U Corsair
Everything should arrive by Thursday, the day before my birthday. Once they do, that will bring my model stash to just about 90 kits.
By the way, when I finished this Ju-87, this was the kit I picked from the stash to start next…

(Polish T-34/85)
(Italian Fiat G.50)
(Italian M13/40 Medium Tank)
(Romanian PZL.23B Kras)

What are the prevailing thoughts within the model community of using historically accurate decals such as the swastika?
If it was on the vehicle, then it belongs on the replica.

Where is the little dive horn that gave it a distinctive sound?
The Jericho trumpets were used in the early actions - mostly in Spain, but were discontinued in later models.
