This may be my favorite. Something about it I just like, and you did a good job on the weathering.

Well, it’s an American vehicle so I’m kinda limited on what I can do as far as paint goes. I’ll change it up somehow. May do a winter camo scheme.

ETA: maybe something similar to this

On average, how long does it take you complete each model?

It varies. For example, something like this I can build in about 8-12 hours…

Something like this though can take well over 40 hours…

I haven’t had sex since Thursday night. I doubt I have sex again until I go to bed after the Peach Bowl goes off.

Mrs. Vader has already given me my orders for the evening.

Bad thing though is most Revell kits are terrible. They’re notorious for poor fit, rape ton their aircraft kits.

Dang. I thought that they had a good reputation.

I haven't seen that Swede fighter plane before! It's hilarious!

You are a rarity among model builders because you have more completed kits on your shelves than unbuilt kits in your stash!

Back in the day they did. That’s not the case now.

Thanks. It’s actually the Italian Fiat CR.42 Falco. Most of them were used by the Italian Regia Aeronautica in WWII. But they were also sold to other countries, Sweden being one of them.

The one I built is an Italeri 1/72 scale model. It came with the option of building it in a number of different Italian versions, one German version, or that Swedish version. One thing you can’t see in that pic is the Swedish version had skis instead of wheels for landing gear.

Yes. But my stash is growing. My sash looked like this in August when we moved my son to Auburn…

Compared to right now.

My plan is when I retire in another 10 years or so, I’ll have enough kits to last me until I die. Basically, my retirement plan is to (1) travel with Mrs. Vader and (2) when at home build models.
