Utah prisoner escapes jail after shaving head, posing as inmate who was set to be freed

I can't believe the prison didn't have any type of identification/verification system in place for prisoners that are set to be released. Tax dollars at work.

what i always found interesting about these things is the guy scheduled to be going free has to agree to go along with it so they are aiding an escape.
yet you never hear about them charging the guy who was supposed to be released as an accessory to escape so i guess no one ever gets charged to help cover up their incompetence at not verifying things
