Yeah, you probably won't though. It is easier not to write him just like it is easier for new guys to join the union.

Trust me, the companies know what they are doing. They are on a long plan to split up unions. Not that far away.

Question comes when unions are split up what happens to working conditions in the US.

I don't know, but I'll sure love to find out.

Isn't the big Abood crusher (for public unions) supposed to hit the Supreme Court this term?

I know ppl who are dead, know the kids. No money can make up for the death of your mom or dad. Many plants have a careless way in process, I worked a chemical plant and we inhaled some real bad shite. Shell, big plants protect the ppl who work for them, small plants do not. It's about safety.

No idea. Don't really keep up with the legal movings behind unions.

Unions need to revamp their style and become more negotiators in order to survive. Having viable options for workers is key part of this.

Right now striking employees basically have to stay at home. If the union (USW) could place them in viable jobs then the companies would have a little more fear.

Welcome to 1988. How about you get it this century with your arguments?

You obviously work at Norco and know better, but you want to be a troll for the sake of it.

So if USW succeeds in with this strike there will be no more design flaws? How many crappy vehicles have the union workers continued to produce and sell to the public?

Being downwind from a leak is a risk you take while in the unit. It's why you carry an escape respirator and be conscious of wind direction.

Now, handling a chemical and refusing to wear a full face respirator is another thing. I see and work with guys who do that all the time. It's on the PPE grid, but inconvenient to them.
