Everywhere on the internet is an echo chamber when it comes to politics. But I challenge you to find a more balanced political forum on the internet.
I agree with the former.
The latter is laughable. The poli board is as extreme right as Reddit is extreme left.
They are both unbearable most of the time.
Reddit: orange man bad, he do this!
Poli board: orange man gud, he troll libs!

Twitter favors certain views, shadowbans conservative voices
Twitter absolutely propagates certain views by their actions. It's called deplatforming

Thing is, the Poli Board has paid a visit to the OT......dialoging anything outside of their view point is pointless.

It is true that they allow both sides to spread their BS...to a certain point. It would also be intellectually dishonest not to admit that both platforms are far more tolerant of left leaning posts, would it not?

I know and experience things people in small town LA don't, fact.

I find it interesting when people complain about dialogue yet use words like "podunk" or even bumpkin, as someone did earlier

Finding a more balanced forum is irrelevant. That's not the part I'm laughing at. It's the suggestion that the poli board is indeed balanced. Balance would imply a mixture of opinion. Having any slightly liberal opinion is met with downvotes and insults.

I didn't say it was balanced. I said it was the MOST balanced of all the options.

Which is why it would've been a great idea to keep the federal government limited as it was intended to be.

I dont know what he is getting at.
I would argue there is more hate and racism in small towns than the largest cities in the country. His whole premise in here was gay people have it harder growing up and he lives around gays and he has seen it. Somehow though he is throwing around the I live in a big city thing like he's above small town bullshite and he's better than us
So are big cities more hateful? Me confused

From another thread. These clowms dont think ahead. Listening to an old idiot whos leaving the team.

LOL.
Those women who denounce America the way she did deserve every single drop of disrespect they get.
I cant imagine not visiting the White House because some other dyke doesnt want to go.
Thats EXACTLY opposite of the leadership they should be showing to kids. Yet they wamt more money and more endorsements, but when they are on top, they do everything they can to ruin their image and hurt the spirt.
Think of the mothers who spend the time and money supporting their daughters who play soccer. They, as a majority, do NOT support the bad values of this idiot. And shes pissing them off!
Its glorious to see her decisions directly conflict with what the womens team wants to achieve financially

To be the most balanced, you have to be somewhat balanced. Otherwise you're essentially saying it's the smartest retard.

Like what?
I'd start by asking you for some data:
What is the ethnic breakdown of these sample municipalities:
New Iberia
Thibodaux
Iowa
Marksville
Further:
How many Temples or Mosques do each have?
How prevalent/easily seen is the LGBT community?
Even further:
What investment in the arts and world history have they made?
Trying to say the view point of any of those three towns is on par with the most diverse city in the US (Houston) is ridiculous. So, a local sitting at a local bar down there and blasting away at anything anti-Trump is horribly biased because all they know is what DT and Fox News says. They don't see it first hand.

Surely the thicker skin comment isn't towards me, the person who dissents in basically every thread on this site.
