Last time I saw a Totco system was 2011. I hate to hear that it's still a piece of crap. You would think they could put out a better product. They've been around longer than all of them. Not really sure if its good or bad though. Its just piggybacked off pason right now. I just dont like change. Turning into an old man quickly

Refineries are set up to run just about any crude, the light and heavy are run thought out. The only segregation is lube approved and non lube approved (fuels grade). One of the more thicker is from Chad, called Doba, it to makes great products, mogas, diesel, jet, etc.
FYI, Jet-A is just Kerosene with a deicer. Heating oil and diesel are close in cetane numbers.

Not that complicated. Domestic refiners can use crudes cheaper than the domestic crudes. Not all foreign refiners can, they need the sweeter crudes.
So why buy more expensive crudes when you don't need them.
