Huntsville is a fantastic place for work and raising a family, but that's about it. Outside of some underrated natural scenery and good BBQ, nothing about N AL is particularly exciting so everyone should just stay away.

I agree.

Lincoln, NE, Grand Rapids, MI and Green Bay, WI ahead of Asheville, NC? Did Asheville refuse to pay US News this year?

I wouldn't live around those bunch of liberal morons in Boulder if it was free.

Where? FoCo and the Springs have awful mountain access in the winter. All the mtn towns have awful schools and you better bring your job with you. Durango is great but jobs aren't exactly easy to come by there.
I think it depends on what you’re after and where you’re at in life.
FoCo is great. You can ski in Wyoming just as easy as going elsewhere.
I lived in Boulder, City Park area of Denver, and Frisco.
I prefer Frisco. Buena Vista and Leadville are growing. Durango, or even Grand Junction are good.
I’m also a bit older with kids now in college. I also detest hippies, bums, crime, and most liberals.

It’s mentioned in a Garth Brooks song so I’d definitely live there

i love threads about good and/or bad cities on this website because of course they're all "shitholes"
people shitting on boulder is just laugh out loud funny

I enjoy poking fun at New Orleans, but if you're giving me a choice between New Orleans and about 60 of those cities ranked above it, I'd take New Orleans in a heartbeat. JACKSON, Brownsville, Flint, Allentown, Toledo, Buffalo, Scranton? Gtfo.

They really have Jackson over New Orleans?

You can take Austin off that list.

I get triggered by this
They’re two completely different cities

Boulder is for low IQ dumbasses
The suburbs of Houston and Dallas are for the true alphas

LOVED living there in the early 00's. Went back and it was even better
Yea but where did you live?
One or the other?
Durham sucks
Raleigh and then surrounding suburbs are great

San Fran is great as long as you make 500k or more

I had job offer on the table in Raleigh in about 2007 that was better than the job I had at the time. It was one of my clients trying to hire me.
I wanted to take it and my wife shut it down. I remind her of this occasionally

You can send your kids to public school and still work for one of the multiple Fortune 500 companies based there? It’s sad that this is unheard of in Louisiana
North Carolina also has a great law with state schools that 70% of the student body needs to be in state
So basically it’s easier to get into UNC if you’re an NC resident

Wasn’t hard for me and I’m from Louisiana

Oddly enough, if I'd have taken it, my boss would have been from Houma.
