Over the course of time, mostly taxes that I don’t think I should have to pay for expenses that I don’t think they should pay for using my money is what I associate as “what the government does for me.”

You know who is to blame? The media. One day they report that masks are effective. The next day they report that wearing one does very little to prevent the spread. The next day it's vital to wear one. The day after that it's helpful, but not necessary.
That has been the information about this thing since DAY frickING ONE.
Who do you believe? Why would you believe the same "experts" who have gone back and forth and changed their position on this thing several times?
The only time that they took a firm stand on wearing one, is when Trump came out on his stance of refusing to wear one. Had he not said that, it would still be just as up in the air as everything else.
