Completely agreed. I’m as pro O&G as anybody but certain areas should be left alone.

True. But just because you grant a new mineral lease to something does not mean you have to allow for surface disturbance.

Like I stated above, as far as oil production, this doesn't move the needle. Natural gas...maybe. But there's lots of other gas pockets to pull from should we need with increased LNG. Permian is currently choked, and with flaring rules becoming more and more strict, that'll be the first outlet to expand.

Doesn't this make the oil and gas being produced in LA more expensive? I think this is good for LA oil and gas.

i mean these frickers can close down their casinos and go back to rubbing sticks together. More oil for the rest of us.
