I’m confused. Did you receive news that Hegseth was driving? Have a link? How did he escape?

Just an update, saw that 4 have finally been recovered and identified.

The 3rd Infantry Division said Wednesday the soldier was Staff Sgt. Troy S. Knutson-Collins, 28, of Battle Creek, Michigan. It said Knutson-Collins and two of the other soldiers who died have been posthumously promoted to the rank of staff sergeant.
The other two sergeants who were promoted were Jose Duenez Jr., 25, of Joliet, Illinois, and Edvin F. Franco, 25, of Glendale, California. The other soldier who died was Pfc. Dante D. Taitano, 21, of Dededo, Guam.

They erroneously drove into a bog, sunk with no hope of escaping. These good men died serving our country. Training accidents occur now and will in future, part of being the best in a difficult environment, land, sea or air.
R.I.P. and highest respect to these men and their families and friends.
May God keep them close.
