That is my deal too for the most part. I'd be surprised if I've down voted more than 25-30 times since it was added. I up vote posts much more often.

I like that it basically eliminated all the "+1" posts that used to litter the board.

Sometimes I feel like I made a good point in a discussion, and I'll just see a downvote or two with no actual rebuttal.
Does the downvote mean that someone didn't agree, or do they think I'm an idiot?
I find the system a bit passive aggressive at times, but overall I think it does serve a purpose.

I upvote people that I think make a good post all the time.
