If you read the article (which many have not) it's about a) the new location of the HELISTOP and b) the helistop being treated as a helipad. No one in the article is claiming they hate the children. They just want to know why the helistop was moved, and why is it being treated as a helipad.
No one cares. They just want to trash this guy. It’s classic virtue signaling.
The guy never says he doesn’t care about the kids. He wasn’t complaining about the helicopter until they moved it closer to his house when it was supposed to be a temporary move.

A friend’s infant was transported on this same chopper last year. Frick those residents
It’s crazy how people just change the meaning of an article. The guy never says he doesn’t want a helicopter there, I’m sure he would be fine if they moved it back where it was or were at least working on a plan to move it back in the future.

Like getting pissed off when you have to make way for an ambulance in traffic. Someone is fighting for their life. A moment's inconvenience is too much?

Can’t they compromise and not have the heliport used between 7 P.M. and 7 A.M.?
If a helicopter is needed around that time bring them to some other hospital?

I had college apartment across from a hospital with helipad. It will wake you up every time. It sucked. Of course I moved in well after the helipad so I had no excuse (and they were the best party apartments in town).
But if I had bought a house, and then they built a heli-paid? I might be on the warpath. Especially if there was a perfectly fine one that they used to use.

That's somebody's critically sick child on that helicopter. If that's my child I wouldn't give a fuc if it was too loud for the neighbors! They chose to live near a major hospital with a helipad. Deal with it selfish azzholes.
And if I'm a neighbor I'd understand a temporary situation while annoying is necessary. And maybe say a prayer for the person in the helicopter.
At least they have a roof over their head & don't need a helicopter to bring their child to a hospital.
Shut up & deal with it.
What a bunch of selfish ungrateful pussies.
