I wonder if at any point during the 30 minute conversation with Anderson and call to family services these cops were told about earlier call and having a gun. I am sure they ran plates, had a name, and were in contact with dispatch.

The ealier call occurred multiple cities/counties away.

And all this was happening at 4:30 in the morning, a child is there wearing a nightgown, and there are three dogs in the motel room.
CPS would have someone answering an emergency line (a friend used to be at that level in TN DCS and the middle of the night calls were much much worse than erratic Mother.)(Physical damage to a baby and there HAD to be someone there at the hospital...that level of middle of the night call) CPS wouldn't come anywhere close to the 4 minute response time that was mentioned in the second part of the article linked above to the ex-husband' incarceration.

Unless the earlier call happened in Bay St. Louis and they had a savvy dispatcher, the cops probably had no idea about any prior interactions.

I am sure they had no idea she was armed until it was too late

After her ex-husband's conviction, she pulled the to-be murder weapon on him

He was out on bond looking for an RV he owned as well as his pickup truck, glasses, clothes, and located the RV in a campground. In the RV his ex-wife was with two men. He said he left when she got the gun out.

It's far from a complete story, but at least police there are finding things out and releasing the information.

“Ex husband in prison.”

The perp sexually molested a 10 year old girl (read the article for the full details), and is set to be released in 2027! This guy is out in less than ten years when he should fry! What is wrong with the justice system?

I know. I know. White privilege. Well, as a white, I want this guy fried!
