Josh Taylor from The North Port PD department spoke with news anchor JB.
-Taylor confirmed they do not have Brian and that they were told Brian was at the house.
-Brian is not currently a suspect, they do not have any tracking devices on him and he’s free to do as he pleases.
-Brian’s attorney contacted the police department today (Friday) to speak and report Brian as missing.
-Police are currently investigating credibility on where Brian is and what his family is saying.
-Taylor states that they never lied to the media (about tracking and knowing where Brian is) and that anyone who says differently doesn’t know what the hell they are talking about.
-The main focus is to find Gabby and now Brian. Please report any tips to 1-800-CALLFBI.
-JB asked if the family called the police and did they say they haven’t seen Brian since Tuesday. Taylor would not be releasing this breaking info at this time.
-JB asks What happens if they find Brian? Taylor responds that they will drop him back off at his parents house and try to talk to him.
-Taylor does not care about opinions at this time and is only interested in tips.
-JB’s final question is “are Brian’s parents cooperating?” Taylor states that they are cooperating to find Brian.

And then you have people that think that there's nothing wrong with the fact that he left on a 2500 mile trip with his girlfriend, came back early in her van without her, has refused to cooperate with police in locating her, and is now missing. Nothing to see here.

Nothing to see here.
I’m not saying it’s not sketchy as hell. I fully believe she is dead somewhere. However, prove to me that she is dead and show me your probable cause that he killed her.
Until you can come up with that, all you have is a very suspicious missing person case. It’s not illegal for an adult to disappear.

All I'm saying is that it's not a reach for people to have already made up their mind about this guy. Nothing that he is doing suggests anything other than that his girlfriend is dead and/or missing, he knows where she is, and is refusing to cooperate in locating her.
This isn't how an innocent person behaves and the people speculating aren't on a jury.
