So I assume Abby's mom is aware of her daughter leaving sweet little invites/gifts for the neighbor- and if that is the case, and y'all are in fact kind and neighborly towards each other- I think the response back to her is fine- I would just make sure that it's delivered to Abby's parents- so as to make sure they are fully aware of the ongoing dialog.
One thing I would suggest if you wanted to edit your letter to her, is to just gift her the 5$ instead of asking that she choose your stickers. I get where you are coming from - but just gifting her the money supports her creativity and sticker side hustle without creating further / ongoing solicitation of communication bw you and the child.

I'm not sending the letter now - agree with your reasons why. I bought the sticker so feel like I can ignore the next few outreaches and hope it fades away.

That doesn't make sense. I literally created this post to make sure that I'm NOT crossing any lines but yet providing kind reinforcement in appropriate ways.
