Speaking of Houston --
Am I the only one who remembers when Huey Lewis and the News played on Beltway 8 when it was being opened in the early 1990s?
There was SO MUCH BEER on the road that when they opened it after the concert cars were sliding around and wrecks ensued so they had to temporarily 'reclose' the freeway and hose it off.

Not to get all grumpy old man or anything but you can thank Facebook, Instagram, etc, for shite like this. It's created one of the most narcissistic societies the world has ever seen. These people were on some national show a few days ago giggling and laughing about this little stunt like they just cured fricking cancer.
