Can you post what the real time loop looked like from 1200 to 1600?
I'd like to see what the capt saw at 1400 when he decided to nose out of the pass then decided to keep heading south
Can’t get the loop without a subscription, but here is an archive.
Where was the boat at 2PM?

They held a press conference yesterday.
What do you want them to say? They are in search and rescue/recovery mode right now.....the investigation will take weeks/months.
That was my point, they held one yesterday.
It is whole 24 hours and no new presser from the Coasties.
Even if it was short pressers weather update or situational report, it could draw more national attention.
If you are as old as I am, I can recall the baby Jessica story, that story hit wildfire for a baby girl in a well.

What’s the benefit of more national attention? Serious question. I understand the story could be covered more than it is, but what good does that do? It’s a tragedy.

Its possible that more attention would push the coast guard to bring more support.

What do you want to know? SEACOR and the USCG have a location set up for the families at the Port and they are getting regualer updates.
Why do you feel obligated to be updated every 4 hours?
Go to FB, there are tons of groups that you can get updated info from people in the know.

There wasnt social media in the 80's and that was a baby that fell into a well..I hope you can see the difference.....and whats the point of drawing national attention....
The BP oil spill drew national attention because it was an environmental disaster.
This is an unfortunate weather event

and another thing...SEACOR is a huge public company that has a lot of power....they very well may be keeping things hush to not scare off their shareholders.

35 boats there already. How much more would they need?

Maybe Im seeing things but It looks like someone holding on to the corner where the waves are crashing.....maybe I'm seeing things
look at the center of the video in the green box
Oh shite I think you're right!!!
I think someone posted this video yesterday/last night and I couldn't understand what I was looking other than to see waves crashing against a portion of the capsized boat.
I saw that movement in between waves crashing, but until you said something it never dawned on me that that was a person.
Damn what a miserable position for old baw!

That’s why I want the charter boat deckhand to tell us what kind of more support does he want.

Imagine being waterboarded like that with saltwater all night.

All Cardinal employees are being brought in off their jobs in the GOM.
Just saw this earlier post. I doubt they pulled all their crews Gulf wide. Maybe they just pulled their crews that were already on other jobs for Talos?

That guy is tougher than a $5 steak. I really hope they can get to him in time.

My bad, I didn't realize all the guys were found? Is there an amount of search and rescue people that is too much? Until everyone is found, I'd like to think the families would prefer as much help as anyone.

Crazy Read Regarding the Weather
Written interview from the captain of the now viral video of the shrimp boat captain. Good read.
Also I'm speculating but I think the infrared video of the movement is of guys they say are inside the hull not holding on to outside.

They haven’t been.

What do you want them to do? There are air and water searches underway. If anyone was floating on a life raft or anything else they would have found them by now. There is a shite ton of traffic out there. Just go look at the AIS on vesselfinders.com.
The assumption right now is to focus on the vessel itself and they have a team of divers ready to start searching. The weather has really set them back. That’s out of their control.

Good Lord man, chill out. They are doing the best they can.

There's absolutely a level where it's too much... when you have people out there who are unorganized / the number of people are too many to organize. That leads to chaos, wasted effort, and is very dangerous.

This thermal video just got posted- I'm not sure what exactly (if anything) significant is being shown here, but if they've narrowed down a location, this is likely how.

Or direct youtube link.
I couldn't find the original video on the uscg site- but if someone can, I'm thinking it might be better quality.
