Underwater camera recommendations?

No personal use, but it seems GoPro is the way forward on this. They keep showing up on TV shows like Deadliest Catch and others where it's a wet environment. They must be pretty decent.

I have a Nikon Coolpix that I use for work. It is waterproof and did well when I took it to Mexico last year. A pics that I took.

I have the Olympius Stylus tough. Good all around outdoor camera. Waterproof, drop proof, freeze proof etc.

GoPro is wide angle and fixed if I am not mistaken, works good for some applications, but not for all.
