i mean i would take LSU win, Houston to cover the spread
So you are betting the ML on LSU at (-350) which means you would have to bet 35 bucks to win 10 and then betting Houston +3.5?
Or just straight up Houston +3.5 and hope the tigers win but by less than 4?

damn. but you lose if the difference is not 3-4?

I just feel that the LSU bats are alive and UH won't score more than 2 runs tonight against NOLA.

Let me be a little more clear. IF you take ML (money line) and bet LSU, you win if they win..period. They can win by 1 or 100. However, with that line (-350) your betting 35 for every 10 dollars you want to win.
If you play the spread, and lets say take Houston (+3.5), Houston would need to either win the game outright, lose by 1, lose by 2 or lose by 3. If they lose by 4, you lose on that bet.
If you take the Tigers -3.5, they start the game in theory down 3.5-0. The Tigers would need to win by 4 or more.
