As far as this case Roger, can we agree that this thug POS should've never been allowed back into society with the rap sheet he has?

Makes me fricking sick to my stomach.

Not just the killer, but the fact that everyone else simply stood there and watched her die.

What a goddamn disgrace of those people just to walk off

How many violent offenses?

I saw two, one for fighting his own sister and a robbery.

None of those merit life in prison.

However, the guy is 100% mentally ill and should have been institutionalized. But we are afraid of hurting feelings.

You share a world with evil people. No amount of government will ever eliminate the possibility of needing to defend yourself or your family at some point. When you accept that fact, you’ll be better off.

Do you go to the ghetto unprepared, or ride public transportation without having an ability to defend yourself?

Yes or no.

so a person with a history of violence against the innocent and mental health issues shouldn’t merit life in prison?

No one’s denying evil exists.

But pretending the only answer is to personally play Rambo every time you leave the house is just as unrealistic as expecting evil to disappear. That’s why we have laws, policing, and public safety infrastructure—because civilized societies pool resources to reduce those risks instead of forcing every parent at a playground to double as armed security.

try again.

The comments in that thread are hilarious though. A bunch of memes and hell yeahs, but that's all it'll be. No one is fighting, no one truly cares beyond shitposting.

It depends. This dude is a mental case and shouldnt have been in public regardless.

But thats a different battle.

Carrying pepper spray and/or a small concealed handgun is “playing Rambo”?

Ok. Call me Rambo then.

I don’t frequent unsafe places with my family, no. And when I do take my family to a public park or on public transportation, I should not have to carry.

I’m not budging on this argument. Call me what you please.

Yikes.

Well, good luck trusting the State to take care of you. I'm not willing to do that.

All my grandkids are rack shots.

Yikes is right. Nobody’s saying “trust the State to tuck you in at night,” but there’s a middle ground between blind faith in government and teaching your grandkids to live like they’re in Red Dawn. Public safety isn’t about dependency, it’s about not shrugging off the basics taxpayers already fund. Otherwise, why bother having police, transit systems, or parks at all? But you know this and feel the need to impress everyone with your badassness.

Personally, I applaud it.

FYI: it’s crack shots. not rack shots.
