Ukrainian orphan accused of being a 22 year old has been living with a Christian family

As charges against her adoptive parents make their way to court, the girl has reportedly been living with a Christian family in the same state in Indiana.
A family friend told the Daily Mail that Barnett is "in a really awkward position" and normal things like schooling have been complicated by the drama from her previous adoptive parents.
They are real lucky she hasn’t tried to kill them yet. Hopefully she has accepted Jesus in her life and won’t become a murderer.

I read some stuff about this case. Apparently 22 happened to be the age that they could legally abandon her and it seemed pretty coincidental that she was alleged to be that age.
