From what I understand, the Berkut is basically controlled by whatever territory they operate in. Meaning the country of Ukraine has several independently controlled Berkuts. Is the military structured the same way?

It was bad enough burning those tires, but they had to go and frick with the trees too. There's probably squirrels and birds that depend on those trees for survival. They don't have a home anymore. Where are they gonna go?

I actually did some research on tire fires after all of this and I learned if you are ever stranded in the middle of nowhere the best way to be found is to light a tire on fire. Take your spare tire, use and gas or oil from your car to ignite it and then SOMEONE will find you because it will burn for days and can be seen for like a hundred miles!
Just be sure to let the air out first or you could have issues!

Thanks for that. I haven't been following the situation very well. Saw random speculation on reddit yesterday that they it was normal military movement meant for Odessa (to explain why they hadn't shown up). That makes much mores sense.
