If FDR had used your line of thinking, we would have ignored Japans attack on Pearl and just sued for peace. We could have saved millions of lives by rolling over and giving Japan a great empire.

You’re basically calling for appeasement, which is a terrible foreign policy to have in place. Do you think Ukraine and Europe would be better off if Ukraine just let Russia take what they want?

Yeah, because of all the red tape it was going to create in order to implement his "plan". What was offered in the omnibus plan was much simpler and less onerous on the provider and the beneficiary.
