Apparently she was a drug dealer and her suppliers murdered her because she was going to testify against them in court.

was facing an upcoming trial on four felony counts of possession of controlled substances for sale. Those substances included methamphetamines, LSD, MDMA — also known as ecstasy — and psilocybin — a psychedelic found in hallucinogenic mushrooms.
...and both she and law enforcement felt that she'd be safe alone in her apartment.

The game is rigged, but you cannot lose if you don't play.

Another victory for the war on drugs
Here's a novel idea: don't get involved in shady illegal shite and your odds of not getting arrested or murdered are much better.

Regardless, it is tragic and I do agree with others that our criminal drug policies make situations worse and often have the opposite impact than intended.
Not really that tragic at all... don't do drugs, live.
shite that's simple.

Not meaning to get all Old Testament on y'all but they nailed it pretty succinctly:
"The wages of sin are death."
120 lbs. of lily-white potential Lilith Fest attendee gets involved with that criminal element? And then possibly consider snitching on them?
What outcome does a rational person expect to come from this scenario?
I am sorry for those whom she leaves behind, that part is tragic.

The world is a better place with one less drug dealer, regardless of race. frick your race agenda.

Not really. At least for myself. The OT is on a damn near consensus that the war on drugs is fricked up and needs to end yesterday.
Hell, a point routinely made by those same people is that the war on drugs takes people away from their families and children and puts them in prison where they do not belong. And yes, black males are referenced in that argument too.
Really not sure why you're getting downvoted.

Not from me. Three ruined lives.

There is no racial agenda for me. I'm simply making an observation regarding the immediate responses this kind of thread usually garners when the race and/or sex is switched. I'm about as far from a SJW as you'll find, but that doesn't exclude me from making such observations.

Snitches get Stitches. In all seriousness I don't feel bad for drug dealers getting popped. if your going to sell the drugs do the time.

Not really. What about the baby that had a grenade shot into its crib because the cops raided the wrong house? Or the 92 year old woman in Atlanta (again, cops raiding the wrong house)?
And while it doesn't get the same attention on the OP, I'm pretty sure the illegal gangs (as opposed to the ones with badges) also raid the wrong house sometimes.
